Boyne Capital has made a platform equity investment in McNish, LLC, the Aurora, Illinois-based designer and manufacturer of wastewater treatment equipment (which operates the Walker Process Equipment, Amwell, and E&I Corporation brands). Capitala Group led a senior debt financing package and provided a minority equity co-investment to support the transaction and McNish's growth in the municipal water and wastewater market.

Boyne Capital Acquires Ryan Construction and Ryan Marine

Boyne Capital has partnered with management to acquire Ryan Construction Co., Inc. and Ryan Marine, Inc., a Suffolk, Virginia–based provider of marine and industrial contracting and maintenance services. The investment—the latest platform for Boyne’s BCM Fund II—will support the company’s next phase of growth by strengthening corporate infrastructure and expanding market share across the Mid-Atlantic, particularly in defense, logistics and utilities end markets.

Boyne Capital and Grindstone Partners Recapitalize SageWater

An affiliate of Boyne Capital, alongside Grindstone Partners and company management, partnered to recapitalize SageWater, a Alexandria, Virginia–based provider of plumbing infrastructure replacement and repiping services for multi-family residential and condominium buildings. The investment will support SageWater's growth, broaden its service capabilities, and expand its geographic footprint; the company has repiped over 100,000 occupied multi-family units and replaced more than 35 million feet of pipe since 1988.

Osmose Utilities Services Acquires Principal Assets of McLean Engineering Company

Osmose Utilities Services, a portfolio company of EQT Infrastructure, acquired the principal assets of McLean Engineering Company to add T&D electrical engineering and pole-attachment/joint-use consulting capabilities. The deal expands Osmose's end-to-end joint-use and pole-attachment services for electric utilities and telecommunications providers; McLean's CEO Sean Knowles and COO Todd Taylor will continue to lead the business unit within Osmose.

Boyne Capital Acquires Pilot Power Group

Boyne Capital has partnered with management to acquire Pilot Power Group, a San Diego-based provider of electric utility billing and data management, energy portfolio management, and energy procurement services serving community choice aggregators and commercial & industrial customers in the Western U.S. Boyne intends to invest in Pilot's software suite and pursue organic growth and strategic M&A to expand the company's geographic footprint and product offerings.

York Group of Companies Acquires MCS Group

York Group of Companies, a Vaughan-based provider of environmental and infrastructure services, has acquired Toronto-based MCS Group, expanding York's service offerings to include hydrovac excavation, CCTV sewer inspection and flushing, directional drilling and related site services. The acquisition is the first post-investment M&A for York after Fengate Asset Management and the LiUNA Pension Fund invested in the company to provide growth capital.
