Transom Capital Group–backed SemiTorr has acquired McKenna Engineering & Equipment Co., Inc., a distributor, fabricator, and installer of process equipment serving industrial and food & beverage customers across California and Nevada. The deal is an add-on to SemiTorr (its third since Transom's investment) intended to expand west‑coast capabilities and cross-selling opportunities; terms were not disclosed.

Clearlake-Backed FloWorks Acquires SemiTorr Group

FloWorks, a specialty flow control distribution platform backed by Clearlake Capital Group, has acquired SemiTorr Group, a Tualatin, Oregon-based distributor of high-purity, sanitary and general industrial fluid handling systems and components. The add-on expands FloWorks' branch network and product suite across semiconductor, life sciences, food & beverage and other industrial end markets; financial terms were not disclosed.

MITAR Private Capital Acquires Micromatic LLC from Forest Hill Partners

MITAR Private Capital, an Indianapolis-based private equity firm, has acquired Micromatic LLC, a Berne, Indiana manufacturer of rotary vane actuators, waste tippers and automation assembly systems, from Forest Hill Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed; Forest Hill Partners had owned Micromatic since 2005 and nearly tripled its revenues and earnings during its 19-year ownership.

Baltimore Potomac Truck Centers Acquires TMI Truck & Equipment (Tidewater Mack)

Micromeritics, headquartered in Norcross, Georgia, is a maker of analytical instrumentation for particle and material characterization; the deal expands Spectris's capabilities and presence in materials characterization and clean-technology end markets.
