48forty Solutions Acquires Pallet Recycling Division of Girard Wood Products

48forty Solutions completed the acquisition of the Pallet Recycling Division of Girard Wood Products, a carve-out transaction that expands 48forty’s pallet recycling footprint in the Pacific Northwest. The division, located in Lacey, Washington, includes over 60 employees, nine tractors and more than 175 privately owned trailers; Girard Wood Products will retain its remaining pallet manufacturing business.

The deal adds regional pallet recycling, remanufacturing and wood-recycling capabilities (headquartered in Salem, Oregon with an additional facility in Boise, Idaho) as an add-on to 48forty’s national pallet management platform.
