BMC has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Netreo, a provider of OpenTelemetry-based application, network, and infrastructure observability solutions. The acquisition will integrate Netreo’s APM, NPMD, and ITIM capabilities into the BMC Helix platform to deliver full‑stack, open observability and enhanced AIOps functionality; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close in H1 2024.

Netreo Acquires CloudMonix

Netreo acquired CloudMonix, a Chicago-based Microsoft Azure monitoring and automation company, to expand its cloud monitoring and self-healing capabilities. The acquisition adds Azure-focused observability, auto-scaling and automation features to Netreo’s full-stack IT monitoring platform, strengthening its offering for DevOps teams, MSPs and cloud service providers.
