An affiliate of Mill Point Capital has acquired Knight Enterprises, a Clearwater, Florida-based provider of communications infrastructure engineering, construction and maintenance services. Mill Point will partner with CEO Jason Welz and Knight’s existing management team to support platform growth and pursue expansion opportunities across the Southeastern U.S.

5th Century Partners Acquires Perspecta

5th Century Partners, a Chicago-based private investment firm, has acquired Perspecta, a Philadelphia-area provider of physician directories and provider data management solutions for workers' compensation, health plans and third-party administrators. The investment will support Perspecta's growth plans — including national sales expansion, product development and enhanced go-to-market capabilities — while management (including CEO Howard Koenig and COO April Stiles) remains in leadership and retains equity.

Peraton (Veritas Capital) Acquires Perspecta

An affiliate of Veritas Capital has completed the all-cash acquisition of Perspecta Inc. for $7.1 billion, with Perspecta stockholders receiving $29.35 per share. Perspecta will be combined with Peraton (a Veritas portfolio company) to create a leading government technology and mission-capability integrator serving defense, intelligence, civilian and health markets.

Francisco Partners to Acquire Forcepoint from Raytheon Technologies

Francisco Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Forcepoint from Raytheon Technologies in a carve-out transaction. The private equity firm said it will partner with Forcepoint management to invest in the company's cloud-native security portfolio and operate Forcepoint as an independent company; the deal is financed in part by debt from Credit Suisse and remains subject to regulatory review.
