CERATIZIT Acquires Xceliron Corp.

CERATIZIT S.A. (part of the Plansee Group) has acquired all shares of Xceliron Corp., a Chatsworth, California-based manufacturer of special solid carbide round tools serving the aerospace and automotive markets. Xceliron founders Randy Jones and Ric DiOrio will remain in management; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal expands CERATIZIT’s specialty tooling capabilities and strengthens its North American aerospace and automotive offering.
