Daikin Applied announced a majority investment in Varitec Solutions, a Phoenix-based designer, developer and installer of large-scale, energy-efficient HVAC systems. The deal brings Varitec's ~170 employees into the Daikin Group to expand Daikin's end-to-end HVAC capabilities and service footprint across the U.S. Southwest while Varitec's president, Chris Carlson, will continue to lead the business.

inTEST Corporation Acquires Videology Imaging Solutions

inTEST Corporation acquired substantially all assets of Videology Imaging Solutions Inc. and Videology Imaging Solutions Europe B.V. for $12.0 million in cash. The acquisition expands inTEST's process technology and automation capabilities—broadening its presence in life sciences, industrial and international markets—and is expected to be approximately $0.05 accretive to diluted EPS in the first year.

Vizgen Acquires Ultivue (Merger to Form Combined Spatial Biology Company)

Vizgen and Ultivue have merged to create a single spatial biology company that combines Vizgen’s MERFISH single-cell spatial genomics platform with Ultivue’s InSituPlex assays and STARVUE proteomic/AI capabilities. Rob Carson (former CEO of Ultivue) will serve as President and CEO of the combined Vizgen, and the transaction was completed alongside Vizgen’s Series D financing backed by investors including ARCH Venture Partners, Northpond Ventures and Tao Capital Partners.

Motorola Solutions Acquires Videotec S.p.A.
