Insightful Science, a PE-backed life sciences software company, has entered into a transaction to acquire Dotmatics, a cloud-first scientific R&D data management and informatics SaaS provider. The combined company will create an end-to-end, cloud-first scientific research platform aimed at improving lab efficiency and accelerating discovery across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals and materials industries.
