Samsung Display Acquires eMagin Corporation

Samsung Display will acquire eMagin Corporation for $2.08 per share (approximately $218 million) after eMagin stockholders approved the merger. The deal, which will take eMagin private and remove its shares from NYSE American, is expected to close in the second half of 2023 subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

Hologic Acquires Endomag for $310M

Hologic, Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Endomagnetics Ltd (Endomag), a Cambridge, U.K.-based developer of breast surgery localization and lymphatic tracing technologies, for approximately $310 million. Endomag generated about $35 million in revenue in 2023; the deal is expected to be slightly dilutive to Hologic's non-GAAP EPS in fiscal 2024, break even in 2025 and be accretive thereafter, and remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
