Wynnchurch Capital has acquired Charter Industries, a North American vertically integrated supplier of PVC and wood edgebanding and complementary products headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The seller was Incline Equity Partners; Wynnchurch said it will support Charter's next phase of growth, expanding capabilities and pursuing strategic acquisitions.

FCA Packaging Acquires Viking Packing Specialist

FCA, LLC (FCA Packaging), a Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company, has acquired Viking Packing Specialist, a Tulsa-based manufacturer and distributor of custom wood crates, metal containers, corrugated and dangerous-goods packaging. The add-on expands FCA's dangerous-goods packaging capabilities and strengthens its presence in the Tulsa, Austin and Dallas markets.

FCA Packaging Acquires Greentree Packaging and Lumber

FCA, LLC (a Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company) has acquired Greentree Packaging and Lumber, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of custom wood packaging and distributor of lumber products. The acquisition adds Greentree’s ~100k sq. ft. facility and nearly 200 employees to FCA’s ~40-location packaging network, expanding FCA’s custom wood packaging capabilities and presence in the Dallas/Fort Worth market and nationally.

FCA Packaging Acquires Timber Creek Resource

FCA Packaging, a portfolio company of Delos Capital, has acquired Timber Creek Resource (also doing business as Wisconsin Box), a custom crating and protective packaging manufacturer with operations in Wisconsin, New York and Tennessee. Wynnchurch Capital has acquired Drew Foam Companies, a Monticello, Arkansas–based manufacturer of expanded polystyrene (EPS) products, from Branford Castle Partners. Drew operates multiple manufacturing facilities across the Southeast U.S. serving packaging, building products and OEM end markets; terms were not disclosed and Wynnchurch intends to support the company's organic and inorganic growth.
