Building Industry Partners (BIP) formed a new regional lumber & building materials platform, Southeast LBM Interests, and completed inaugural acquisitions of the assets of Warner Robins Building Supply Co., Henson Building Materials, and Mountain Building Supply across Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The transaction addresses the Bayer family's succession planning needs while sponsoring Roger Farmer as president of the new platform to drive regional expansion and implement broad-based employee ownership and people-first practices.
