Cloudera has acquired Verta's Operational AI Platform and hired the Verta team into its machine learning organization to accelerate Cloudera's enterprise AI roadmap. The deal brings Verta's MLOps, model catalog and GenAI tooling into Cloudera's hybrid, multi-cloud data platform to strengthen operational AI, model governance, and developer tooling for customers.

BlackLine Acquires WiseLayer

BlackLine, the cloud-based platform for the Office of the CFO, has acquired New York-based WiseLayer, a maker of AI-powered agents for finance and accounting. The acquisition will embed WiseLayer's judgment-capable AI agents into BlackLine's Verity suite to automate complex accounting workflows such as accruals and payroll; terms were not disclosed.

Garvis’ DemandAI+ will be embedded into Logility’s Digital Supply Chain Platform to add generative-AI and ML-driven demand forecasting capabilities and accelerate supply chain planning accuracy and automation.
