Roper Technologies Acquires Foundry from Hg for £410 million

Roper Technologies has agreed to acquire Foundry, a London‑headquartered developer of high‑end VFX and 3D design software, from private equity firm Hg for £410 million in cash. Foundry, which employs about 300 people and offers cloud-based rendering and design tools used across film, automotive and apparel sectors, will expand Roper’s portfolio of vertical software businesses.
