Regent, a global private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of Foundry — IDG’s portfolio of editorial brands, awards, events, and marketing services. The sale by International Data Group enables IDG to focus on its core IDC business; terms were not disclosed and Centerview Partners advised IDG.

Foundry Acquires Upstate Interactive

Foundry Digital LLC, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group (DCG), has acquired Upstate Interactive, a women-owned Web3 software development and consulting firm founded in Syracuse, New York. The Upstate Interactive team will join Foundry and their capabilities will be integrated into Foundry's staking and digital-asset infrastructure services to expand product and service offerings for institutional clients.

Roper Technologies Acquires Frontline Education from Thoma Bravo

Roper Technologies has completed an all-cash acquisition of Frontline Education from private equity firm Thoma Bravo for approximately $3.725 billion. Frontline, a provider of K-12 administration software for human capital, student programs and business operations, will join Roper's portfolio to expand its presence in vertical education software.

North Square Investments' CS McKee Acquires Foundry Partners

The deal adds approximately $2.3 billion of assets under management to CS McKee and includes a leadership transition in which Foundry's Timothy Ford will assume the CEO role at CS McKee.

Strata will operate in Roper's Medical segment with its management team remaining in place; the seller was VSS Structured Capital Fund II, L.P., managed by Veronis Suhler Stevenson.
