Via Acquires Remix to Create End-to-End TransitTech Solution

Via has acquired Remix, a San Francisco-based collaborative mapping and transit planning platform, to combine planning and operations capabilities and create an end-to-end TransitTech solution for cities and transit agencies. The deal brings together Via's operations and mobility optimization technology with Remix's planning and mapping tools to support multimodal planning, scheduling, and real-time operations for public transit and shared mobility.

Masabi, a global provider of enterprise SaaS fare collection, has acquired UK-based Passenger Technology Group Ltd., a developer of passenger information, white-label mobile apps and ticketing solutions. The deal will combine Masabi’s Justride fare collection and payments platform with Passenger’s customer information and UX capabilities to create a more connected, cloud-native end-to-end mobility offering; financial terms were not disclosed.
