Rotunda Capital Partners Acquires Bron Tapes

Rotunda Capital Partners has acquired Bron Tapes, a Denver-based distributor and converter of pressure-sensitive tapes and adhesives, as the second investment from its Fund III. Rotunda intends to support Bron's organic growth, help pursue add-on acquisitions, and leverage Bron's technical expertise and nationwide branch footprint to expand its value-added distribution platform.

Bron Tapes Holding’s Bron Aerotech division has acquired NSL Aerospace, a Magnolia, Texas-based distributor and repackager of aerospace-approved adhesives, sealants, and surface preparation products. The deal is an add-on acquisition that will allow Bron Aerotech to expand its aerospace consumables portfolio and leverage NSL’s PMA products, repackaging capabilities and certifications to better serve MROs, airlines, OEMs and other global customers.

Fortress Acquires Gyptech

Funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group have acquired a majority stake in Gyptech, the Burlington, Ontario–headquartered designer and fabricator of gypsum wallboard and asphalt-shingle manufacturing equipment. The transaction (in which Gyptech management retains a minority stake) was announced as providing strategic support for global growth, scaling innovative technologies, and expanding aftermarket and energy‑reduction offerings; Wynnchurch Capital is the selling private equity sponsor. Moelis acted as Fortress's financial advisor and Evercore as placement agent on the financing.

Duraco Specialty Tapes Acquires Infinity Tapes

Duraco Specialty Tapes, a portfolio company of OpenGate Capital, has acquired Infinity Tapes from a private seller. Infinity Tapes, headquartered in Lawrence, Massachusetts with ~45 employees, will operate as a division of Duraco to expand its product offering in transit packaging and industrial end markets.

Tube Bending Technology Acquires Scarrott Metallurgical Company

Washington Equity Partners’ portfolio company Tube Bending Technology has acquired Scarrott Metallurgical Company, a Los Angeles-based vacuum brazing and heat-treating specialist serving aerospace, defense and space customers. The add-on expands Tube Bending’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities (AS9100 and NADCAP certified) and enables greater in‑house production of tube and duct assemblies.

The add-on expands Duraco's product development capabilities, adds coating capacity, and broadens its addressable markets in flexible packaging, building products, graphics, and healthcare.
