Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Acquires Telesis Technologies

Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. (HIES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., has acquired Telesis Technologies, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of laser and dot-peen marking equipment. The acquisition expands HIES's marking and coding product portfolio and gives Hitachi access to Telesis's AI-enabled vision, laser marking technologies, and global service channels to accelerate growth in coding and marking markets.

TekniPlex Healthcare Acquires Seisa Medical

TekniPlex Healthcare has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Seisa Medical, a full-service contract manufacturer of Class II and III medical devices headquartered in El Paso, Texas. The deal expands TekniPlex Healthcare’s materials science and process technology capabilities into the medical device CDMO segment, adding Seisa’s ~2,000 employees and facilities in the U.S., Mexico and Slovakia; the closing is subject to regulatory approval.
