Natural Upcycling, a Rochester, New York-based organics management company, has acquired Ridgefield, Connecticut-based Curbside Compost. Financial terms were not disclosed; the purchase expands Natural Upcycling's food scrap recycling and soil delivery capabilities and deepens its client base across Connecticut and New York.

Century Park Forms Green Summit Landscape Group and Completes First Acquisition

Granite Creek Capital Partners Acquires NYP Corp.

Granite Creek Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private investment firm, has acquired NYP, LLC (d/b/a NYP Corp.), a value-added packaging manufacturer and distributor headquartered in Elizabeth, New Jersey. As part of the transaction Robert Dahl was named CEO and Granite Creek partners joined NYP's board; sellers included long-time owner-operators Christopher and Jerry LaBelle. Granite Creek said it will support product diversification, expansion, and continued growth at the company.

Clavis Capital Partners and Green Hills Partners Acquire UCC Environmental

UCC Environmental, a Waukegan, Illinois–based provider of engineered environmental systems for solids handling, wastewater treatment and air pollution control, received a strategic investment from Clavis Capital Partners and Green Hills Partners. The existing family owner remains a partial owner; the new capital will fund investments in talent, broaden UCC's environmental and water solutions, and accelerate international growth and market-share expansion.

MML Ireland and 57 Stars Invest in Natural World Products Limited

MML Ireland led a c.£20m growth investment into Natural World Products Limited (NWP), with 57 Stars also participating, making MML the largest single equity holder. The transaction (with all existing shareholders except CEO Colm Warren exiting) will fund NWP’s expansion of its organics recycling and composting operations across Ireland; NWP manages over 250,000 tonnes of organics annually and employs 55 staff across four facilities in Northern Ireland.

Altamont Capital Partners Invests in Nutrition 101, Inc.

The investment will support 101 Inc.'s growth—expanding its geographic footprint, reaching new customers, and strengthening its service capabilities; transaction financing was provided by Churchill Asset Management and Maranon Capital.
