The acquisition expands Chauvet's product portfolio and enables bundled lighting and power-control solutions for live-venue, house-of-worship and pro AV customers.

Bertin Technologies Acquires Environics Oy

French instrumentation group Bertin Technologies has acquired Finnish CBRN detection specialist Environics Oy from Verso Capital; the deal was announced September 29, 2022 and is backed by Bertin's owner FCDE. The acquisition creates a combined European CBRN player, strengthens Bertin's Nordic presence and expands its portfolio of detection, identification and monitoring solutions for authorities, manufacturers and first responders.

Astorg and Cinven Acquire LGC

A consortium led by private equity firms Astorg and Cinven has signed an agreement to acquire LGC, a UK-headquartered global leader in life sciences tools. The buyout will back LGC’s continued organic growth and M&A-led expansion across its standards, genomics and laboratory services businesses; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals.
