Tenable Acquires Bit Discovery

Tenable Holdings, Inc. agreed to acquire Bit Discovery, a leader in external attack surface management (EASM), for $44.5 million in cash. The acquisition (expected to close in Q2 2022) adds Bit Discovery’s external-facing asset discovery and continuous monitoring capabilities to Tenable’s vulnerability and Cyber Exposure portfolio to give customers a more complete view of attack surface risk.

inherent group Acquires devensys cybersecurity

inherent group has acquired devensys cybersecurity to strengthen and expand its cybersecurity capabilities, with the transaction supported by Keensight Capital. The devensys business will operate as inherent group's cybersecurity division (under the devensys cybersecurity name) and is supported by a team of more than 100 cybersecurity experts to deliver offensive and defensive services including SOC, CERT/VOC, penetration testing, incident response, training and audits.

Accenture Acquires Innotec Security

Accenture has acquired Madrid-based Innotec Security from parent company Entelgy Group, expanding its cybersecurity-as-a-service, cyber resilience, and managed security services capabilities in Spain. The deal adds approximately 500 cybersecurity professionals to Accenture Security and deepens Accenture's regional footprint and MSS capabilities across Spanish cities including Barcelona, Seville and the Basque Country.

Check Point Acquires Cyberint

Check Point Software Technologies is acquiring threat intelligence firm Cyberint (Cyberint Technologies) to integrate its external risk management, threat intelligence and attack-surface management capabilities into Check Point's SOC and Infinity platform. The deal, reported at about $200 million, strengthens Check Point's managed threat-intelligence and SOC offerings; the transaction is expected to close by Q4 2024.
