LeMaitre Vascular Acquires Artegraft

LeMaitre Vascular, Inc. acquired the business and assets of Artegraft, Inc. for $90.0 million (including $72.5 million at closing and up to $17.5 million in earnouts). The acquisition adds Artegraft's biologic vascular graft product line (used primarily for hemodialysis access) to LeMaitre's portfolio and will keep Artegraft's North Brunswick, New Jersey manufacturing facility and most employees in place.

Solventum (NYSE: SOLV) has completed the acquisition of Acera Surgical, a privately held bioscience company that develops synthetic tissue matrices for regenerative wound care, for $725 million upfront plus up to $125 million in contingent payments. The deal expands Solventum's MedSurg and advanced wound care portfolio with Acera's synthetic electrospun matrix technology; Acera is expected to generate about $90 million in sales in 2025.

Lectra to Acquire Gerber Technology

Lectra entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire all capital and voting rights of US-based Gerber Technology, subject to work council consultation, merger control clearance and shareholder approval. The proposed deal envisages an upfront cash-free / debt-free payment of €175 million plus 5 million newly issued Lectra shares to AIPCF VI LG (an affiliate of American Industrial Partners), representing a total consideration of about €300 million based on Lectra's Feb 5, 2021 share price; Gerber reported €165 million of revenue in 2020.

The acquisition adds Vivasure's PerQseal Elite fully bioabsorbable vascular closure system to Haemonetics' large-bore closure portfolio; Vivasure has CE Mark approvals and has submitted a PMA to the U.S. FDA.
