BD Acquires Edwards Lifesciences' Critical Care Product Group

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) completed the acquisition of Edwards Lifesciences' Critical Care product group and has renamed the business BD Advanced Patient Monitoring, based in Irvine, California. The deal expands BD's smart connected care portfolio with advanced monitoring technologies and AI-enabled clinical decision tools, and aligns the new unit within BD's Medical segment to enable integration with BD's infusion platforms and future closed-loop monitoring innovations.
