CORE Industrial Partners’ portfolio company PrecisionX Group has acquired Ditron, Inc., a Stormville, New York-based provider of micro and micro‑miniature precision metal stamping. The acquisition is an add‑on to the PrecisionX platform to expand high-speed, high-volume micro-stamping capabilities and serve aerospace, medical, electronics and other industrial end markets.

The combined company will provide 3D printers, high-performance filaments and related services from a single 68,000 sq. ft. Grand Rapids, Michigan facility to serve end markets including aerospace, medical and automotive.

Trutron, a precision CNC and EDM shop that primarily serves the aerospace market, will join Compass as its 10th operating company; Trutron President Lisa Kingsley plans to retire while VP Ron Dobreff will remain with the business.

The add-on strengthens Arxis' Mechanical Components segment by adding MTI's elastomeric diaphragm, seal assembly and high-precision EDM capabilities to support mission-critical aerospace and defense programs.
