PrecisionX Group Acquires National Manufacturing Co.

PrecisionX Group, a portfolio company of CORE Industrial Partners, has acquired National Manufacturing Co., a Piscataway, New Jersey-based specialist in deep and shallow drawn metal stamping and precision CNC machining. The deal expands the PrecisionX platform’s manufacturing capabilities and capacity—particularly in medical and aerospace end markets—adding National’s 90,000 sq. ft. facility and extensive tooling and finishing capabilities to the platform.

The add-on expands PrecisionX's specialty precision metal manufacturing capabilities, deepens its presence in medical and aerospace & defense end markets and adds East Coast capacity; Monroe Capital provided debt financing support and FOCUS Investment Banking represented CORE.

CORE Industrial Partners’ portfolio company PrecisionX Group has acquired Ditron, Inc., a Stormville, New York-based provider of micro and micro‑miniature precision metal stamping. The acquisition is an add‑on to the PrecisionX platform to expand high-speed, high-volume micro-stamping capabilities and serve aerospace, medical, electronics and other industrial end markets.

Spectra Medical Devices Acquires XL Precision Technologies

Spectra Medical Devices, a portfolio company of QHP Capital, has closed its acquisition of XL Precision Technologies Ltd., a Stockton‑on‑Tees based CDMO that manufactures precision micro-components, complex tubular components, and sub‑assemblies for the medical device industry. Rubicon Partners Industries, which acquired XL‑PT in 2008, was the seller; the deal expands Spectra's development and precision‑manufacturing capabilities to better serve medical device OEMs.

The Heico Companies Acquires Precision Engineering

The Heico Companies has completed the acquisition of Precision Engineering, a Uxbridge, Massachusetts-based Tier-1 manufacturer of precision sheet metal enclosures. Precision will join Heico’s Thermal Solutions Segment (TSS), expanding TSS’s capability to offer high-precision sheet metal–based thermal enclosures and peripherals to aerospace/defense and critical industrial OEMs.

Precision Aerospace Holdings Acquires Clearwater Engineering

Dallas-based Precision Aerospace Holdings, a portfolio company of Juniper Capital Management and CIC Partners, has acquired Clearwater Engineering, a Derby, Kansas precision machining and CNC milling company serving commercial and government aerospace customers. The add-on deal (closed March 7, 2025) expands Precision's Midwest footprint, adds machining capacity and capabilities, and brings approximately 40 Clearwater employees into the Precision platform.
