Ocutrx Acquires Spectrum Advanced Manufacturing Technologies

Ocutrx Technologies has acquired Spectrum Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, a Colorado Springs-based high-reliability electronics and assembly firm, to bring medical-device and hi-rel manufacturing capabilities in-house and repatriate supply chain operations to the U.S. Spectrum's founder Jeff Riggs will remain as a minority partner and CEO during integration, and Ocutrx plans to leverage Spectrum's process lines and ISO optics lab to scale AR/XR medical headsets and other devices in compliance with FDA and global standards.

PrecisionX Group Acquires Hudson Technologies

PrecisionX Group, a portfolio company of CORE Industrial Partners, has acquired Hudson Technologies, a Florida-based deep and shallow drawn metal stamping manufacturer. The add-on expands PrecisionX's stamping capabilities and capacity, deepening its presence in medical device and aerospace & defense end markets; Monroe Capital provided senior credit financing to support the transaction.

Burlington Medical, a portfolio company of Peninsula Capital Partners, has acquired Lite Tech, Inc. (d/b/a XenoLite), a Norristown, Pennsylvania manufacturer of lightweight, lead-free radiation-protective aprons and related products. The deal is an add-on to the Burlington platform and expands its manufacturing capabilities and product offering in the healthcare radiation-protection market, creating what Burlington describes as the world's largest manufacturer of radiation-protective aprons.

Quasar Medical Acquires Nordson MEDICAL Design & Development Businesses in Galway and Tecate

(PTI), a single-facility EMS provider in Plano, Texas. The add-on expands VIRTEX's NPI, ultra-low-volume and flex/rigid-flex assembly capabilities and strengthens its presence in the Texas aerospace and defense corridor.

DuPont Acquires Spectrum Plastics Group from AEA Investors

DuPont de Nemours, Inc. agreed to acquire Spectrum Plastics Group from AEA Investors in a definitive buyout expected to close in Q3 2023; the purchase is funded from DuPont's existing cash balances. Spectrum is a contract design and advanced manufacturer of specialty medical devices and components (serving top medical device OEMs) and will expand DuPont's healthcare and medical-device materials and manufacturing capabilities.
