Microsoft Corporation will acquire Nuance Communications in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $19.7 billion, including net debt, at $56.00 per share. The acquisition strengthens Microsoft's industry cloud strategy for healthcare by integrating Nuance's conversational AI and cloud-based clinical documentation solutions into Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare; Nuance CEO Mark Benjamin will remain in place reporting to Scott Guthrie.
