Stone Canyon Industries Holdings LLC agreed to acquire Kissner Group Holdings LP, a leading North American producer and supplier of rock, specialty and evaporated salt. Sellers included Metalmark Capital Holdings LLC and Silvertree-KMC II LP; terms were not disclosed in the initial announcement and the deal subsequently closed at approximately $2.0 billion.

Klöckner & Co SE Acquires National Material of Mexico

Klöckner & Co SE, via its U.S. subsidiary Kloeckner Metals Corporation (KMC), completed the acquisition of National Material of Mexico (NMM), a leading independent steel service center and materials supplier with ten facilities across Mexico. The acquisition expands KMC's footprint in Mexico and strengthens its presence in automotive and industrial end markets; as a combined company the group operates 56 sites with around 2,600 employees. NMM's experienced management team will remain and the business will be integrated stepwise under the Kloeckner Metals brand.

Commercial Energy Specialists Holdings Acquires Knorr Systems, Inc.

Commercial Energy Specialists Holdings LLC (CES Holdings), a platform formed by Turning Basin Capital Partners and Vigeo Investments with CEO Alvaro Mendoza, acquired Knorr Systems, Inc. (KSI), a Santa Ana, California-based provider of service-supported distribution and water quality control equipment for commercial and institutional pools. LNC Partners provided financing (senior subordinated term loan and equity co-investment); KSI's management, led by President Rich Robert, will remain to support geographic expansion and integration into CES's Q5 Water Quality Management program.

Miner Ltd. (OnPoint Group) Acquires K&K Material Handling, Inc.

Miner Ltd., the dock and door division of OnPoint Group, has acquired K&K Material Handling, Inc., a regional provider of commercial doors and loading-dock equipment serving Northern and Central Wisconsin. The add-on expands Miner’s dock-and-door service footprint in Wisconsin, bringing K&K’s more than 40 years of local experience and service capabilities into Miner's national network.

Stone Point Capital Acquires ECN Capital's Kessler Group Business

Funds managed by Stone Point Capital have completed the acquisition of all issued and outstanding equity interests in ECN Kessler Holdco LLC (the Kessler Group) from ECN Capital. ECN Capital said it will use the net proceeds to pay down debt and redeploy capital to accelerate tuck-in acquisitions in its prime marine and RV financing business.
