Malouf Acquires Salt Flat

Logan, Utah–based Malouf has acquired full-line furniture resource Salt Flat, expanding Malouf's offerings beyond bedding into bedroom, dining, upholstery, storage, office and outdoor residential furniture. Salt Flat will operate as an independent brand under Malouf (with Mason Niederhauser remaining president); the companies did not disclose financial terms and initial fulfillment will include container-direct orders and distribution through Malouf's centers.

3Z Brands Acquires Southerland

3Z Brands, a vertically integrated mattress manufacturer and DTC brand portfolio, has acquired Southerland, a 120+-year-old mattress manufacturer with four U.S. production facilities. The deal expands 3Z's nationwide manufacturing footprint (adding East Coast capacity in Nashville), brings Southerland's in-house transportation business into 3Z, and positions the combined company to better serve retail and e-commerce customers across 43 states.

Malibu Boats Acquires Pursuit Boats from S2 Yachts

Malibu Boats, Inc. has acquired the assets of Pursuit Boats from S2 Yachts, Inc., adding a leader in the saltwater outboard fishing boat market to Malibu's portfolio. Angle Advisors acted as exclusive advisor to S2 on the divestiture; the Slikkers family will retain ownership of Tiara Yachts under the S2 umbrella.
