The move integrates SkySQL’s serverless, multi‑cloud and agentic AI capabilities into MariaDB Cloud to accelerate cloud deployments and expand MariaDB’s managed database and GenAI tooling.

MariaDB plc has acquired Finnish-based Codership Oy and its Galera Cluster synchronous replication product, bringing the core Galera team into MariaDB to deepen high-availability and replication capabilities within the MariaDB Enterprise Platform. The acquisition strengthens MariaDB's European engineering and support capabilities and accelerates product innovation around high-availability, zero data loss replication for enterprise customers.

Auria Acquires BCubed Engineering

Auria, a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital, has acquired BCubed Engineering Corporation, a Warrenton, Virginia–based developer of software-defined satellite communications, digital ground systems, and cloud-native command-and-control platforms. The acquisition expands Auria's C3 (command, control, communications) software and hardware capabilities to better serve customers including the U.S. Space Force, Special Operations Command, and the Intelligence Community; Auria now has more than 500 employees across multiple U.S. locations.

Rockbridge Growth Equity Acquires Marquis Software Solutions

Syntax Systems Acquires EmeraldCube Solutions

Montreal-based Syntax Systems has acquired Atlanta/Alpharetta-based EmeraldCube Solutions to strengthen its Oracle JD Edwards and AWS public cloud capabilities. Syntax, a portfolio company of private equity firm Novacap TMT IV (which provided equity financing), will integrate EmeraldCube's software solutions and managed-services platform to expand its JD Edwards managed services and cloud offerings.

Maxar Acquires Wovenware

Maxar Technologies has completed the acquisition of Wovenware, a Puerto Rico–based AI and software engineering firm of roughly 150 employees. The acquisition adds software engineering, AI/ML and geospatial data production capabilities to Maxar and establishes Wovenware as a Maxar software development and AI/ML center of excellence in Puerto Rico.
