Syntax Systems, a Québec-based cloud application implementation and management specialist, announced it will acquire Montréal-based Beyond Technologies, an SAP-focused professional services firm with operations across North America, Europe and Africa. The deal — supported by Syntax's private equity partner Novacap — expands Syntax's SAP capabilities and industry-focused offerings and creates a combined team of more than 2,800 experts serving over 900 mid-market and enterprise clients.

The transaction is a continuation/recapitalization intended to provide capital to support Syntax's organic growth and ongoing M&A strategy; Credit Suisse assisted with the private offering of the continuation vehicle.
