IK Investment Partners Acquires Majority Stake in ALBA Baving Group

IK Investment Partners' IK Small Cap II Fund has agreed to acquire a majority stake in ALBA Baving Group from the founding Baving family. ALBA is a German provider of municipal infrastructure cleaning and maintenance services (street sweeping, sink-box cleaning, highway maintenance, winter and greenspace services); IK will support management to accelerate organic growth and expand the company's service offering. Financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.

IK Partners Invests in Veldeman Group

IK Partners’ Small Cap III Fund has signed an agreement to invest in Veldeman Group, a Belgian designer, manufacturer and rental provider of temporary modular infrastructures. IK is acquiring its stake from the existing management team and individual investors (with management reinvesting) to support international expansion, digitalisation, operational improvements and a buy-and-build M&A strategy.

IK Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Kooi

IK Partners' IK X Fund has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Kooi European Mobile Security Solutions B.V., a pan-European provider of temporary camera surveillance (TVS) and rising early-detection (RED) solutions. The seller is Bencis Capital Partners together with founder Pieter Kooi and the management team, who will reinvest; Kooi — headquartered in Drachten, the Netherlands — has more than 200 employees and serves customers across 23 countries.

IK Partners (IK IX) Acquires Majority Stake in IG&H

IK Partners’ IK IX Fund has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Dutch digital transformation consultancy IG&H, with the founding management team reinvesting alongside the fund. IG&H, headquartered in Utrecht with ~350 employees and offices in Lisbon, Porto and Munich, provides consultancy, data analytics, low-code development and proprietary digital solutions for clients in pensions, banking, insurance, retail and healthcare; IK will support international expansion and M&A-driven consolidation.

IK Partners Acquires Renta Group Oy

IK Partners’ IK IX Fund has signed an agreement to acquire Renta Group Oy from Intera Partners, with management and employees reinvesting; financial terms were not disclosed. Renta is a full-service construction and equipment rental provider operating 103 depots across the Nordics and Poland with more than 1,000 employees and ~€300m in revenues; IK will support geographic expansion into continental Europe, further add-ons and digital platform roll-out.

IK Partners' Small Cap III Fund has signed an agreement to invest in STEIN HGS GmbH, a Germany-based B2B e-commerce specialist for barrier technology, construction site and facility management supplies. The stake is being acquired from Lennertz & Co. and founder Bodo Stein, both of whom will reinvest alongside IK to support growth, product range expansion and new customer acquisition.
