Grundfos has completed the acquisition of UK-based Metasphere, a telemetry and analytics provider for sewer and water networks, from XPV Water Partners. The deal enhances Grundfos' capabilities in IoT-enabled monitoring and analytics to help municipal customers reduce sewer overflows and improve resilience to climate change.

The acquisition brings SEMS’s asset management, mobile work orders and compliance capabilities into Cartegraph’s platform to create a more comprehensive solution for water and wastewater utilities and public works agencies.

Spheros Environmental Acquires Northwater Consulting

The deal — announced by Spheros and sponsor Union Park Capital — strengthens Spheros' technical capabilities in groundwater modeling, geophysics, and source water protection and expands its geographic reach; it marks the sixth acquisition for Spheros Environmental.
