Wave Broadband, a division of Astound Broadband, has acquired Digital West Holdings, Inc., a San Luis Obispo-based provider of fiber optic connectivity, colocation, cloud and telephony services for business customers on California's Central Coast. Digital West's leadership will remain in place as the business operates within Wave Business Solutions to expand service offerings and accelerate network growth in the region.

Stonepeak Acquires Astound Broadband from TPG for $8.1 Billion

Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners agreed to acquire Astound Broadband (RCN, Grande, Wave, enTouch) from TPG Capital and Patriot Media Management for $8.1 billion. Stonepeak will partner with the Astound management team (Patriot Media) to invest in network expansion and technology upgrades; the deal was expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to customary approvals.

Boston Omaha Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary FIF St George, LLC, has completed the acquisition of the businesses operated by InfoWest, Inc. and Go Fiber LLC, two fiber and fixed wireless internet service providers based in St. George, Utah. The combined businesses serve over 20,000 customers across southern and central Utah, northern Arizona and Moapa Valley, Nevada; InfoWest and Go Fiber equityholders retain a 20% initial ownership stake in FIF St George as Boston Omaha commits additional capital to accelerate FTTH expansion.
