Astound Broadband powered by Wave has acquired FastMesh Internet, a Seattle- and Portland-based provider of managed wireless residential Wi‑Fi services for apartment buildings and housing communities. The deal brings FastMesh's MDU-focused wireless access capability and customers into Astound's footprint and transitions FastMesh employees into Astound roles to accelerate deployment of managed Wi‑Fi across Astound markets.

Digital West Networks acquired Norcast Telecom Networks to create the California Central Coast's largest business infrastructure provider, combining roughly 60 employees and more than 2,500 customers. The transaction was advised by Auctus Capital Partners and financed in part with mezzanine debt and a minority equity investment from Farragut Capital Partners.

DigitalBridge and Crestview Partners Take WideOpenWest (WOW!) Private

Affiliated investment funds of DigitalBridge Group and Crestview Partners completed a take-private acquisition of WideOpenWest, Inc. (WOW!) for an enterprise value of approximately $1.5 billion. WOW! shareholders received $5.20 per share; the buyers said they plan to invest in expanded fiber deployments, network modernization and customer experience improvements.

Stonepeak Acquires Astound Broadband from TPG for $8.1 Billion

Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners agreed to acquire Astound Broadband (RCN, Grande, Wave, enTouch) from TPG Capital and Patriot Media Management for $8.1 billion. Stonepeak will partner with the Astound management team (Patriot Media) to invest in network expansion and technology upgrades; the deal was expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to customary approvals.

Boston Omaha Acquires InfoWest and Go Fiber to Expand Fiber Footprint in the West

Boston Omaha Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary FIF St George, LLC, has completed the acquisition of the businesses operated by InfoWest, Inc. and Go Fiber LLC, two fiber and fixed wireless internet service providers based in St. George, Utah. The combined businesses serve over 20,000 customers across southern and central Utah, northern Arizona and Moapa Valley, Nevada; InfoWest and Go Fiber equityholders retain a 20% initial ownership stake in FIF St George as Boston Omaha commits additional capital to accelerate FTTH expansion.

Novacap Acquires All West Communications with Co-Investment from Novo Holdings

Novacap has closed an investment to acquire All West Communications, a fiber-based broadband provider headquartered in Kamas, Utah, with co-investment from Novo Holdings. The partnership will fund All West's expansion of fiber broadband services across Utah and Wyoming and accelerate deployment into underserved communities.
