GFL Environmental Inc. acquired Superior Waste Industries, LLC, a Shawnee, Oklahoma–based regional solid waste and recycling operator, from Red Dog Equity LLC in an all-cash transaction. The deal transfers ownership of Superior and its subsidiaries (including Central Disposal, Harley Hollan, Sue's Recycling and Sanitation, and SDS Roll-off Dumpsters) to GFL as part of the company's U.S. expansion and market consolidation strategy.

The deal is an add-on to Superior's platform as it continues to densify and expand within Oklahoma, backed by partnership capital from Red Dog Equity LLC with additional capital and financing provided by The Pritzker Organization and Monroe Capital.

The transaction is an add-on to Superior's platform and was supported by equity and financing partners including Red Dog Equity LLC and Monroe Capital; Harley Hollan invested in Superior and will continue to manage the business.

Capital Waste Services Acquires Superior Sanitation

Capital Waste Services, a Kinderhook Industries portfolio company, acquired Superior Sanitation, a residential collection business in Kershaw County, South Carolina, adding approximately 1,700 subscription customers. The transaction — Capital Waste's third add-on to expand its regional residential collection footprint — was financed by Comerica Bank and involved the sale by long-time owner Denise Dunlap.

Capital Waste Services Acquires Southern Central Waste Services and Priority Waste Services

Capital Waste Services, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, acquired Southern Central Waste Services and Priority Waste Services, two Tennessee-based roll-off and transfer-station operators, expanding its footprint in Southeast Tennessee. The deals are the platform's eighth and ninth add-on acquisitions and will strengthen Capital Waste's vertically integrated network; debt financing was provided by a syndicate led by Comerica Bank with MUFG, Webster Bank, and Fifth Third.
