Uniphore has acquired Emotion Research Lab, a Valencia-based video and emotion AI software developer, to integrate facial-emotion and eye-tracking capabilities into its conversational automation platform. The deal adds video-focused AI capabilities and a European presence, enabling combined voice and video AI use cases across customer experience, sales, marketing and HR.

Uniphore Acquires Orby AI and Autonom8

Uniphore announced it has acquired Orby AI and intends to acquire Autonom8 to integrate advanced agent orchestration, Large Action Models, and neuro-symbolic capabilities into its Business AI Cloud. Both acquisitions bring senior AI research and engineering talent from DeepMind and Google and will accelerate Uniphore's ability to automate complex enterprise workflows; transaction terms were not disclosed.
