Next Glass acquired Vancouver-based Ollie Order, a Canadian omnichannel multi-tenant alcohol marketplace platform that powers ordering, inventory, payments, invoicing, CRM and government reporting for producers, wholesalers and retailers. Ollie’s founders (Ryan Wilson, Jesse Bannister and Mike Macquisten) will remain in leadership with Ryan Wilson continuing as Ollie CEO and becoming President of Next Glass’s newly formed Next Glass Commerce division. The deal expands Next Glass’s commerce capabilities and accelerates geographic expansion beyond British Columbia into additional Canadian provinces and the U.S.

Uncommon Equity Acquires HopCat (Project BarFly, LLC)

Chicago-based private investment firm Uncommon Equity LLC has acquired Grand Rapids-based Project BarFly, LLC, which does business as HopCat, a regional casual dining and craft-beer restaurant group operating 12 Michigan locations and one in Lincoln, Nebraska. Financial terms were not disclosed; senior debt was provided by OakNorth Bank PLC and Rob Selati will participate as a strategic investor through Saxonwold Capital as part of the new ownership group.
