Catule principals Josh Grahmann and Silas Aday have joined Pyxis as Managing Directors to lead the firm’s Upstream and Oilfield Services verticals, expanding Pyxis’s capabilities across energy and industrial markets.

Pyx Health Acquires InquisitHealth

Pyx Health, a Tucson-based social health engagement platform, has acquired New Jersey-based population health management company InquisitHealth to expand its capabilities, technology offerings, and clinical expertise. The deal brings InquisitHealth's remote peer workforce and chronic-condition management programs into Pyx Health's platform and adds InquisitHealth CEO Dr. Ashwin Patel to Pyx Health's executive team; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bain & Company Acquires PiperLab

Bain & Company has acquired Madrid-based PiperLab, a provider of AI and machine learning solutions, to strengthen Bain's Advanced Analytics Group (AAG) and scale its technology and analytics capabilities across EMEA. PiperLab, founded in 2015, will form part of Bain’s AAG ecosystem and help deliver data-driven solutions to clients across industries including insurance, telecoms, utilities and logistics.

Audax Private Equity has made a growth investment in Pyramid Laboratories, Inc., a Costa Mesa, California-based CDMO that provides formulation development, analytical/stability testing, and aseptic fill-finish manufacturing for large-molecule biologics. The capital will support planned facility expansions to increase vial-filling capacity by more than 30% and syringe filling by more than 50%, and to scale Pyramid's clinical and commercial biologics manufacturing and service operations.
