Sverica Capital Management will retain a minority position; the investment is intended to support Synoptek's organic growth and further M&A expansion. The deal represents a divestiture by Vertex of its Optistar technology services business and will fold the Optistar business into the Synoptek brand to accelerate regional growth and broaden service offerings.

The deals expand Kynetec's regional data coverage, machinery registration analytics and veterinary/pet owner research panels, and support new product offerings including MachineryTrak and enhanced animal-health insights.
