ABB to Acquire SEAM Group to Expand Electrification Service Offering

ABB has agreed to acquire SEAM Group, a provider of energized asset management and advisory services, to broaden its Electrification Service offering. The deal — expected to close in Q3 2024 subject to regulatory approvals — will extend ABB’s low- and medium-voltage services and field service coverage across North America; financial terms were not disclosed.

PowerGEM Acquires Astrapé Consulting

PowerGEM, LLC has acquired Astrapé Consulting to combine complementary software and consulting capabilities for power grid reliability, market modeling and resource adequacy. The combined company — led by new CEO Joe DeMatteo with Astrapé founders remaining in executive roles — will offer expanded software (TARA, PROBE, SERVM) and technical services to North American system operators, utilities and developers.

TSG Acquires SITIM (Zagreb-based technical services provider)

SITIM reported €10M revenue and about 90 employees in 2020; the deal expands TSG’s technical service capabilities and local footprint in Croatia.

Apax Acquires Majority Stake in CEME Group
