GardaWorld has acquired Stealth Monitoring, a North American leader in commercial mobile and fixed video monitoring, to create a global leader in AI-enabled remote video monitoring solutions. The acquisition (announced under a binding agreement and completed Oct 31, 2024) adds Stealth's technology, R&D, and ~2,000 employees across 40+ offices and eight monitoring centers to GardaWorld's ECAMSECURE capabilities.

Cinedigm Acquires The Film Detective

Cinedigm has agreed to acquire The Film Detective, a classic film and television content distributor and operator of two FAST channels, adding roughly 3,000 titles and ~10,000 episodes to Cinedigm's streaming portfolio. The Film Detective will continue to operate under founder Philip Hopkins as a standalone brand while Cinedigm plans to expand distribution and launch additional genre channels leveraging its Matchpoint platform.

Gladstone Investment Corporation Acquires Global GRAB Technologies

Gladstone Investment Corporation has acquired Global GRAB Technologies in a $67.6 million transaction comprised of equity and senior secured debt. Global GRAB, based in Franklin, Tennessee, specializes in perimeter security and hostile vehicle mitigation systems for government and commercial clients; Gladstone said the investment will support the company's growth, product portfolio expansion, and ability to protect critical infrastructure.

Gentex Corporation Acquires BioConnect

Gentex Corporation has acquired Toronto-based biometric authentication provider BioConnect and will integrate its enterprise-grade software into a newly formed Security & Access Control commercial division. The acquisition (terms not disclosed) expands Gentex's biometrics and identity-assurance capabilities and will be combined with its existing hardware assets such as EyeLock to pursue high-security enterprise and critical-infrastructure customers.

Detectortesters Group Acquires Global Vision Inc.
