Cargill Acquires Owensboro Grain Company

Cargill has acquired Owensboro Grain Company, a fifth-generation family-owned soybean processing facility and refinery in Owensboro, Kentucky. The acquisition expands Cargill's North American oilseeds capacity and modernizes its supply chain capabilities to support demand from food, feed and renewable fuel markets; terms were not disclosed and the transaction completed in January 2023.

Inverness Graham Acquires Custom Agronomics

Inverness Graham, a private investment firm based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, has acquired Custom Agronomics, Inc., a Palm City, Florida-based formulator and manufacturer of private-label liquid plant nutrition and specialty agricultural products. The company's co-founders will remain in place and Inverness Graham said Custom Agronomics will serve as a platform to pursue further acquisitions in the specialty agriculture and turf & ornamentals markets.

SRS Distribution Acquires Sunniland Corporation

SRS Distribution Inc., a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners, has acquired Sunniland Corporation, a long-established distributor of residential and commercial roofing products and landscape fertilizers headquartered in Sanford, Florida. Sunniland will continue to operate under its existing brand with Tom Moore and the current leadership team remaining in place; the deal expands SRS's branch network and presence in the Florida/Southeast market.
