Kinderhook Industries, a New York-based private investment firm, acquired Chemtron Corporation, a hazardous and non-hazardous waste management provider headquartered in Avon, Ohio, from Cleveland private equity firm CapitalWorks. Financial terms were not disclosed; Kinderhook said the acquisition expands its environmental services platform and adds Chemtron's diverse treatment, processing and railcar/ISO container capabilities to its portfolio.
