Electrical Services Acquisitions in Connecticut

Hudson Glade acquired ComNet Communications, a Bethel, Connecticut-based provider of low-voltage infrastructure solutions, in its second platform investment; terms were not disclosed. Hudson Glade partnered with New State Capital Partners on the transaction, with financing and support provided by Energy Impact Partners and GarMark Partners, and plans to expand ComNet’s presence in the data center market, deepen customer relationships, invest in sales, and pursue strategic acquisitions.

HomeSquare, a Norwalk-based full-service home services provider, has acquired Amici Power Solution LLC, a generator sales and service business serving residential and small business customers in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY. The deal brings Amici’s owner and senior manager into HomeSquare to expand the company’s in-house electrical and backup-power capabilities.

IES Holdings, Inc. acquired all equity interests in Aerial Lighting & Electric, Inc., a Naugatuck, Connecticut-based electrical contractor specializing in multi-family residential electrical systems. Aerial, which had approximately $24 million in 2019 revenue and over 60 employees, will join IES's Residential segment to strengthen and expand IES's presence in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
