Electrical Services Acquisitions in Kentucky

Lark Electric has acquired May Electric, two long-standing Owensboro electrical contractors, to combine Lark's commercial and residential expertise with May's industrial electrical and controls capabilities. The deal includes creating a downtown training center in partnership with Owensboro Community & Technical College to accelerate electrician apprenticeship and workforce development.

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Amteck, LLC family of companies, a Lexington, Kentucky‑based electrical contracting firm. Amteck is expected to contribute approximately $175–$200 million of annualized revenue and will expand Comfort Systems’ electrical capabilities and presence in the Southeastern United States.
