Energy Acquisitions in Tennessee

Equipment Controls Company (ECCO), a Norcross, Georgia-based distributor of natural gas measurement and control products, acquired Tri-State Meter and Regulator Service, Inc., a Memphis, Tennessee-based distribution and service center for natural gas and liquid management products, effective June 28, 2024. The acquisition expands ECCO's geographic reach and field-service capabilities, allowing the combined business to offer broader product distribution, installation, testing and leak-survey services to natural gas utilities, transmission companies, and commercial and industrial customers.

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC has acquired Voltyx, a Nashville-based provider of electrical infrastructure services, from Arcline Investment Management and Industrial Growth Partners. Voltyx — which operates 35 locations with over 1,200 employees and serves utilities, renewable energy, and data center customers — will expand Asplundh's infrastructure services and geographic reach.

Fidelity Building Services Group (through its Fidelity Energy & Sustainability team) has acquired Power of Clean Energy (PCE), a Nashville-based provider of energy transition planning and project implementation. The deal expands Fidelity’s energy and sustainability capabilities and strengthens its footprint across the southern United States as it scales toward a national platform for energy-efficient building solutions.

Lifescale Analytics, a Roseville, Minnesota data science and geospatial solutions firm, acquired PowerGRID RX, an energy and power consulting company based in Sevierville, Tennessee. The acquisition expands Lifescale’s capabilities in grid analytics, machine learning and cloud services to better serve utility and industry clients.
