CHA Holdings, Inc. (CHA) has acquired Midwestern Engineers, Inc., an Indiana-based civil and water resources engineering firm headquartered in Loogootee. The acquisition adds Midwestern’s ~45 technical experts and local offices in Indianapolis and Santa Claus to CHA’s existing Indiana teams, expanding CHA’s water, wastewater and stormwater capabilities and regional presence.

UES, a national engineering and consulting firm, has acquired GME Testing of Fort Wayne, Indiana, expanding UES' Midwest footprint and adding drilling and construction materials testing capabilities. GME Testing — a 23-person firm providing geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and foundation-related inspections — will continue to be led by President Rami Anabtawi, P.E.

Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) has acquired Presidio, Inc.'s Physical Security Integration business (PhySec), a Presidio business unit headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana with additional offices in Michigan and Ohio. The acquisition expands MCA's physical security capabilities and Midwest footprint, allowing MCA to offer enhanced custom-designed security systems and continue a partnership relationship with Presidio for physical security products and services.

SAM, a leading provider of geospatial and inspection services, has acquired PrecisionPoint, Inc., a 3D laser scanning and scan-to-BIM firm based in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. The acquisition bolsters SAM’s Managed Geospatial Services capabilities and regional resources to better serve A/E/C, utilities, transportation and broader infrastructure markets.

PRIME AE Group, Inc., a NewHold company, has acquired Jacobi, Toombs & Lanz, Inc. (JTL), an integrated engineering, surveying, and construction services firm headquartered in New Albany, Indiana. The deal strengthens PRIME AE's Midwest presence and expands its Transportation and Water Resources engineering, surveying, and construction capabilities.

White Wolf-backed DCCM has acquired RQAW, a full-service engineering and architecture firm headquartered in Fishers, Indiana. The deal expands DCCM's Midwest footprint and service offering while RQAW's CEO Troy Woodruff will continue to lead the business.

EN Engineering, a national engineering and consulting firm based in Warrenville, Illinois, has acquired Spectrum Engineering Corporation, an Auburn, Indiana–based engineering firm. The acquisition expands EN Engineering’s geographic presence in the Midwest and strengthens its communications engineering, fiber-optic, data center, telecom and SCADA capabilities.

SAM Companies, a geospatial and construction services firm based in Austin, Texas, completed the acquisition of Marbach, Brady & Weaver, Inc. and Marbach-Palm, Inc. on June 25, 2021. The deal expands SAM's geographic presence and service capacity in the Great Lakes region, adding land surveying and engineering capabilities and deepening its client coverage in the Utilities and Transportation sectors.

HomeValet has acquired Envolve Engineering, an Evansville, Indiana engineering firm specializing in refrigeration and appliance design. The deal brings in-house mechanical, electrical and CAD expertise to support HomeValet’s upcoming IoT Smart Box, SaaS platform and subscription delivery service as the company prepares for product launch and scale-up.
