Engineering Services Acquisitions in Minnesota

SCR, Inc., a St. Cloud, Minnesota-based building automation and services provider, has acquired MN Controls Solutions, a developer and installer of building control management software and systems. The acquisition will add Honeywell partnerships and augment SCR's building automation capabilities across Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

GHK Capital Partners completed the acquisition of Minneapolis-based WSB & Associates and concurrently acquired EST, Inc., contributing EST into WSB to form a national critical infrastructure engineering platform. The combined business will have over 1,100 employees and will pursue growth through geographic expansion, digital construction investments, and an active M&A program.

SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), through its subsidiaries Summit Fire & Security and Summit Fire Protection, completed six strategic add-on acquisitions to expand its fire and life safety footprint—primarily across the South and Southwest. The deals, executed under ownership of CI Capital Partners, further Summit's roll-up strategy (41 add-ons since CI Capital's 2017 investment) to increase geographic coverage, service offerings and operational density.
