Jacobs completed the spin-off of its Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber & Intelligence government services businesses and merged them with Amentum Parent Holdings LLC to form independent, publicly traded Amentum Holdings, Inc. Amentum began trading on the NYSE as AMTM and the transaction leaves Jacobs focused on its remaining data and next-generation digital technologies businesses while creating a scaled government services company.

San Antonio-based tech startup Irys has acquired Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI), a longtime defense contractor now operating as a DTSI business unit of Irys. The all-cash deal preserves DTSI's name, its existing defense-sector contracts and roughly 60 employees, and gives Irys immediate past performance and capabilities to expand into government and DoD contracting.

FieldWare, a Chicago-based provider of criminal justice software, has acquired Orion Communications, a Dallas-headquartered operational workforce management SaaS provider for public safety agencies. The acquisition will add Orion's scheduling, payroll and asset-management SaaS capabilities to FieldWare's case management and remote check-in solutions to expand its public-sector product suite; financial terms were not disclosed.

OMNIA Partners, Public Sector acquired the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA), a Houston-based government purchasing cooperative. The deal expands OMNIA Partners’ public-sector contract portfolio and extends its reach into state and local government, K-12 and higher education procurement.

Arlington Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of J&J Worldwide Services in partnership with the Company's existing management team. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, J&J provides mission-essential facility, maintenance and healthcare support services to U.S. federal government sites and collectively employs over 3,200 people across more than 270 locations; the Voudouris family and senior management participated in the transaction.

Audax Private Equity has acquired a controlling interest in Kofile, Inc., a Dallas-based provider of records restoration, preservation, digitization services and cloud-native digital records management software for government agencies. Terms were not disclosed; Ropes & Gray advised Audax while Shea & Company and Gunderson Dettmer advised Kofile.

i3 Verticals, Inc. completed the acquisition of Northeast Texas Data, LLC and Graves Humphries Stahl, LLC (collectively “Net Data”) for approximately $24 million. Net Data provides software and services to municipalities and local governments in Texas (a team of ~70 employees), and the deal expands i3 Verticals' Public Sector capabilities and presence in the Texas market.
