HVAC & Mechanical Acquisitions in Colorado

The SEER Group acquired Tuscan Electric, Heating & Plumbing, a fast-growing, family-operated home services company serving the Denver metro area. The add-on expands SEER's presence in Colorado while preserving Tuscan's brand and local leadership.

Two Parks Capital has acquired Fix-It Group, a residential-focused HVAC, plumbing, and electrical home services platform headquartered in Golden, Colorado, from New Harbor Capital. New Harbor supported Fix-It's growth since 2017, during which the company expanded into multiple metropolitan markets and completed several add-on acquisitions.

Generational Group advised A&Z Mechanical, Inc., an HVAC contractor based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on its sale to an unnamed private investor, with the transaction closing November 1, 2024. A&Z Mechanical provides HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services for new single-family construction as well as commercial and residential customers.

Antimatter Construction Contractors, the home‑services holding company of Value Investment Group (VIG), has acquired Rocky Mountain Heating & Sheetmetal, Inc. (RMHS), a Colorado Front Range HVAC provider. The deal brings RMHS (17+ employees, servicing ~1,100 units) into VIG's home‑services platform with plans to expand services into plumbing and maintenance.

Service Champions Group, a PE-backed home services platform, has agreed to acquire locally owned M and M Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical of Longmont, Colorado. The add-on strengthens Service Champions' footprint in the greater Denver market and expands its residential and commercial HVAC, plumbing and electrical capabilities.

Huron Capital-backed platform Pueblo Mechanical & Controls has acquired ProCraft Mechanical, an HVAC and plumbing services provider headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado. The add-on expands Pueblo's footprint into the Denver market and brings ProCraft's team of more than 75 employees into Pueblo's operations.

Gladstone Investment Corporation acquired Dema Plumbing and will merge it with Mai Mechanical, an existing Gladstone portfolio company, to form a larger plumbing and mechanical services platform in Colorado's Front Range. The combined business will serve single-family and multi-family residential homebuilders across the region and support Gladstone's expansion in the lower middle market services sector.

Resolute Industrial Holdings, a PE-backed operator in specialty HVAC and power rental, has acquired Rocky Mountain Portable Cooling (RMPC). RMPC will operate under Resolute’s Mobile Air & Power Rentals platform, adding over 500 assets and expanding the rental platform into the Denver/Colorado market; terms were not disclosed and founder Mark Stone will continue as President.

The Riverside Company has invested in Done Service Group (Done), an Aurora/Denver-area provider of residential plumbing, HVAC and excavation/sewer services, as an add-on to its Radiant Plumbing and Air Conditioning platform. Done completed more than 15,000 jobs in the last year and brings a high repeat-customer base and membership program to support Radiant’s expansion in home services across the Denver metro area.

The Arcticom Group (TAG) has acquired Chiller Systems Service (CSS), a Lakewood, Colorado-based commercial and industrial HVAC services provider. The acquisition expands TAG’s mechanical services footprint in the Colorado Front Range and adds CSS’s expertise in chiller and refrigeration maintenance, preventative programs and energy optimization; financial terms were not disclosed.

Service Champions Group, a California-based residential HVAC and plumbing platform backed by Odyssey Investment Partners, has acquired SWAN Heating & Air Conditioning, a Loveland- and Denver-area home services provider owned by Tim and Andy Swan. The transaction expands Service Champions' coordinated network into Colorado and strengthens its footprint in the Denver and Loveland single-family homeowner markets.

Burton Plumbing Services, a ShoreView portfolio company, has acquired Allen Service, a Fort Collins-based provider of residential HVAC and plumbing installation and repair. The add-on expands Burton’s geographic reach into the Rocky Mountain region and adds scale to its field technician staff and service vehicle fleet.

Colorado Mechanical Systems (CMS), a Centennial, Colorado-based commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing and building controls provider, has acquired AMI Mechanical Systems of Thornton, Colorado. The acquisition expands CMS's service footprint in the Mountain West and strengthens its position in core end markets including healthcare, education, municipal, senior living and industrial customers; AMI founders Manuel Gonzales and Paula Wiley will transition out and AMI's construction arm will continue operations post-close.

Reedy Industries, a Glenview, Illinois-based provider of commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing and building controls services, has acquired Colorado Mechanical Systems of Centennial, Colorado. The acquisition expands Reedy's footprint into the Mountain West (Denver metro) and preserves CMS's leadership and management, with CMS President Josh Skinner remaining in his role.

Fix-It 24/7, a New Harbor Capital–backed provider of residential home maintenance services, has completed the acquisition of Builder's Heating and Air Conditioning, a long-established HVAC services provider in the Denver metropolitan area. The add-on deal expands Fix-It's footprint and service capacity in the Denver market.

New Harbor Capital has made a majority investment in Fix-It 24/7, a Denver-area residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical services provider, to form a residential home services platform. The partnership will support Fix-It’s growth through investments in technology, infrastructure and strategic acquisitions while preserving the company's owner-operator leadership.

The Arcticom Group (TAG), a Walnut Creek-based commercial refrigeration and HVACR services provider, has acquired Denver-based Victory Construction and Refrigeration. The acquisition expands TAG's operations into Colorado and strengthens its footprint across the Western United States; financial terms were not disclosed.
