Acquisitions in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina

Adecoagro S.A. has acquired the remaining 50% stake in Profertil S.A. from YPF S.A., becoming the controlling shareholder with 90% ownership (Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas retains 10%). The transaction (together with the earlier acquisition of Nutrien's 50% stake) gives Adecoagro control of a low‑cost, large‑scale urea producer in Argentina and was financed through cash, debt and a US$300 million equity raise.

TRG, a Cleveland-based global managed services provider, has acquired Boreal 4.0, an AIDC-focused automation company based in Argentina. The deal brings four Boreal locations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico and approximately 40 employees into TRG, expanding the company's robotics, automation and managed services capabilities across Latin America.

Biocomposites has acquired the remaining shares in Laboratorios SL S.A. and Synergie Ingénierie Médicale S.A.R.L., gaining full control of the SYNICEM™ and Subiton antibiotic bone cement and preformed spacer product ranges. The deal consolidates Biocomposites' capabilities in infection-management bone cements and spacers and will allow the company to leverage its global distribution network to expand these products' reach.

Engageware, a Clearhaven Partners-backed customer engagement SaaS platform, has acquired Aivo, an Argentina-founded conversational and generative AI provider. The deal expands Engageware’s platform capabilities to deliver AI-powered customer engagement across financial services, telecom and retail clients and strengthens its offering for enterprise customers.
