Genomate Health, a Cambridge-based precision medicine company, has acquired Hungarian personalized oncology firm Oncompass Medicine to expand its precision-oncology offerings and establish a stronger presence in Europe. The acquisition brings Oncompass's oncology decision‑support capabilities and customer relationships into Genomate's computational precision‑medicine platform.

Eurofins Scientific has completed the acquisition of WESSLING Hungary, a Budapest-based environmental, food and BioPharma product testing laboratory. The deal expands Eurofins’ laboratory footprint and capabilities in Hungary and Central and Eastern Europe, adding ~€15m in revenue and over 300 employees.

Galton Voysey, a Hong Kong-based eCommerce/private equity operator, has acquired Under Lucky Stars, a direct-to-consumer brand that sells personalized star maps. The deal brings the DTC brand into Galton Voysey’s portfolio to help scale the business using the acquirer's eCommerce and brand-building capabilities.

HCL Technologies has agreed to acquire Starschema, a Budapest-based data engineering services firm, in a strategic buyout to strengthen HCL’s data engineering and digital engineering capabilities and expand its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. The deal combines Starschema’s data engineering, consulting and managed services expertise with HCL’s global technology platform to serve enterprise clients across the U.S. and Europe.
